Privacy Policy

The Site collects information you voluntarily submit through our contact form or to Lara, our AI assistant, and limited technical information generated when configured site services operate. Contact information may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name (if provided)
• Your phone number (if you give it to Lara for a call back)
• The content of your message or inquiry
• What you type to Lara in the chat window, and recordings and transcripts of voice conversations with her, as described in the Lara section below

Where analytics or advertising measurement is permitted by your cookie choice, the Site may process page, device, referral, and interaction information to understand Site use and measure our advertising, as described in the Cookies and the Analytics and Advertising sections below. Pages containing YouTube media may also connect to YouTube as described below.

The Site uses cookies and first-party browser storage in four categories. Strictly necessary storage keeps the Site working — including remembering your cookie choice itself — and is always active. The other categories are controlled by you:

• Analytics — a first-party visitor identifier cookie (sk_analytics_id, kept up to 2 years) and PostHog and Google Analytics cookies that help us understand which pages and tools are used
• Session replay — PostHog recordings of selected visits that help us diagnose usability problems; replay requires analytics and typed inputs are masked
• Marketing — Meta (Facebook and Instagram) cookies such as _fbp and _fbc that measure whether our advertising works

If you are visiting from outside the United States, analytics, session replay, and marketing stay off until you allow them. For United States visitors, analytics and marketing may run by default until you turn them off, but session replay stays off until you expressly allow it. We honor a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of marketing measurement. Your choice is saved in versioned first-party local storage on this device.

Before analytics permission is resolved, the Site may hold the landing path, referring domain, and campaign parameters temporarily in page memory. This information is not written to a cookie or browser storage unless analytics is allowed.

You can review or change your choice anytime: use the Cookie Settings link in the Site footer, or the controls on this page. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops the affected services on this device from that point on. Withdrawing analytics also removes the Site's analytics identifier and saved attribution from this device.

With analytics allowed, we use a curated set of PostHog events to understand which pages, forms, and tools are used; automatic capture of every click is disabled. PostHog data is collected through our own subdomain and stored with PostHog Inc. in the United States. Google Analytics may also collect page and device information subject to Google's privacy policy. If you separately allow session replay, PostHog may record selected visits; typed inputs are masked unless you submit the information to us.

With marketing allowed, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our advertising on Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram) leads to visits and inquiries, and to build audiences of similar businesses. Meta may receive page, device, and event information from your browser, and — when you submit a form or book a call — a hashed (unreadable) version of your email address together with event details from our systems. Meta processes this data under its own terms.

When you ask Lara for a follow-up, we may also send Meta a hashed version of the phone number or email address you gave her, with the date and the fact that you asked for a follow-up, but not what you said. This tells us which ads bring real enquiries. Phone calls set no cookies, so to opt out of this, tell Lara or contact us using the form below.

We do not sell your personal information. Where advertising measurement counts as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under applicable law, your cookie choice is the way to opt out on this device.

Lara is an AI assistant, not a person. You can chat with her by text in the Site's chat window, talk with her by voice from that window, or call our phone line, which she answers.

Text chat: your messages, together with the page you're on, are sent to OpenAI, which generates Lara's replies under its API terms. The conversation is kept in your browser's local storage so it's still there when you come back; clearing the chat removes it from this device.

Voice: when you start a voice conversation, your microphone turns on and the conversation is recorded and transcribed. The Site shows a notice before and during every voice conversation; by starting one, you agree to the recording. Voice conversations and phone calls are handled by ElevenLabs, which converts speech to text and back, generates Lara's replies with an AI model, and stores the recording, transcript, and a summary. To tailor the conversation, the Site also shares the page you started on, the advertising campaign you arrived from (if any), and your timezone and local time. A paused voice conversation is kept in your browser's session storage for up to 30 minutes so you can continue it.

After each voice conversation, our team receives an email with its transcript and summary. If you ask Lara to have someone follow up, by text or by voice, she sends our team your name, the contact details you give her, what it's about, and the conversation so far. We use this to respond to you and to improve Lara.

If you ask for a follow-up and give Lara your email address, we send you one email after the conversation with the services you asked about and a link to book a call. Replies go to our team.

When you call our phone line, we may keep your phone number with your name and a short note of what you asked about, so Lara can recognize you if you call again. When she does, she checks who she's speaking to before mentioning an earlier enquiry. To have this removed, contact us using the form below.

Please don't share passwords, payment card details, government ID numbers, or health information with Lara. A follow-up request is not consent to marketing.

The Site uses YouTube API Services to maintain an editorial catalogue of videos and displays YouTube thumbnails and privacy-enhanced embedded players. A validated YouTube-hosted thumbnail from i.ytimg.com can be requested when a video card or page loads. On a page containing a player, your browser may also connect to YouTube when the page loads, before you press play. YouTube and Google may receive normal request information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the referring site or page.

YouTube states that privacy-enhanced mode prevents an embedded view from influencing your browsing experience on YouTube and serves non-personalized ads if ads appear. This mode reduces personalization; it does not prevent the initial connection or all data processing. Playing or interacting with a video can send additional player and playback information, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to that processing.

Playback is normally user-initiated. If an editor has selected a featured video for autoplay, muted playback may begin when the player loads, subject to browser autoplay rules and the Site's reduced-motion safeguard.

Our CMS stores limited YouTube source metadata used to identify, order, attribute, and verify public videos, including video and channel identifiers, current title, publication time, thumbnail details, and availability or eligibility state. Scheduled checks refresh that metadata. Records may remain for operational and audit purposes after a video is unavailable; the public Video page may be unpublished after confirmed failed checks. • Communicate with you about our services
• Maintain a record of business correspondence
• Run Lara and improve her answers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We do not use the content of your messages for advertising; if you allow marketing cookies, advertising measurement works as described in the Analytics and Advertising section above.

We do not share, sell, or disclose the information you submit, except:

• With service providers who help us operate our email or communications systems, solely for the purpose of enabling that communication
• With OpenAI and ElevenLabs, to run Lara as described above
• With the analytics and advertising providers described above (PostHog, Google, Meta), to the extent your cookie choice allows
• If required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Skillion Inc., our clients, or others

We retain contact form submissions, Lara conversations (including voice recordings and transcripts), and follow-up requests for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, improve Lara, and maintain business records, after which they may be deleted at our discretion.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you've submitted to us. To make such a request, contact us using the information below.

You can withdraw analytics, session replay, or marketing permission at any time on this device using the Cookie Settings link in the footer or the controls on this page.

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
