Why AI Context Matters More Than AI Speed
Arthur Ketchel explains why an AI tool working over years of personal notes needs to know which ones still matter. He wants answers about today drawn from current notes, not from records made ten years ago.
Video summary
Arthur Ketchel says he is a big fan of AI and vibe coding in general because of how fast you can get from an idea to a demo.
His main point is about context. He has notes from 10 years ago in his vault that are no longer relevant. He might sometimes ask what he was doing 10 years ago today, just to make a comparison, and he sees some value in going back to old notes that way. But when he asks something about today, he does not want the answer pulled from 10 years ago, because it is not relevant.
Pete Cooper's questions in the clip ask which CRMs he likes to work with and whether he sees an AI opportunity in his app.

I'm I'm a big fan of the the AI in in vibe coding in general just because of how fast we can get from from that idea to to the demo. >> Can you name a couple of CRMs that you like to work with? >> I have notes from 10 years ago that's no longer relevant within my vault, right? So, I might at some point say, "Hey, what was I doing 10 years ago today? " just to do some sort of comparison. There may be some value in going back and looking at uh notes from from 10 years ago, but when I ask something about today, I don't want it to pull today from 10 years ago because it's not relevant. >> Are you seeing an AI opportunity with your app? Are you doing anything with AI in that app?
