AI Voice Agents: Revolutionizing Business Customer Service #shorts

Two speakers look at where AI voice agents and automation can take pressure off service businesses. The examples are a massage therapist who has to stop work to answer the phone and a busy reception desk.

Video summary

One speaker gives the example of a massage therapist who sometimes has to stop a massage to pick up the phone. An AI voice agent, the speaker says, makes this more efficient, because the therapist no longer has to stop and can forget about the phone and focus on the client.

The other speaker describes walking in every day to find three or four people on a reception desk, welcoming people in, scheduling them, taking calls and doing the billing. That is not really a problem, this speaker says, but it is a cost, and perhaps the business could find a way to reduce it. The speaker adds that cutting the cost of running businesses with tools including automation is part of their own experience.

There are cases, for example, when the person who is doing a massage only will sometimes need to stop the massage to pick up the phone. >> Mhm. >> So, an AI voice agent can make everything so much more efficient because not only the person won't need to stop the massage, the person can literally forget about the phone and focus on the client. >> I walk in every day and there's three or four people on reception desk in front of their computers, welcoming me in, scheduling me in, taking phone calls, doing the billing. That isn't really a problem, but it is a cost.

Having so many people to do that task, perhaps the problem is just that the costs are too high to have so many staff, and that perhaps they can reduce their costs somehow. This is some of the experiences that we've had is reducing the costs of running businesses using various tools including automation.
